Notes about your identity here in the Helix Discussion forums... 1) When you register, please use your real name and email address. We only ask for one "User Name" - not a "full name" and a separate "login name" - there should be no problem with this. 2) If you want to use a nom de plume for a user name, then put your real name in the signature. And please don't simply identify yourself as "Joe" - there is more than one Joe in the world, and you shouldn't assume that we'll all automatically know that it's you. 3) You do not need to make your email address public, but if you do, it will be easy for us to respond directly to items if we need to. And if it is easy, we're more likely to do it. 4) If somebody does register in an manner that doesn't make it clear who they are, we won't immediately delete the account. But if somebody become a participant of the forums, we'll insist that they identify themselves clearly. While it may be very obvious to you who "kansas_fan" is, you should remember that not everybody in the Helix world knows about your undying devotion to 70's era art rock.  5) The AIM handle field also works with iChat, so if you provide that information, you've provided an easy way for people to engage you in one on one conversation. - Edited by Matt on: Jul 09, 2003 2:15:35 pm
