Perhaps this is quite premature seeing as how neither Helix 6 nor MacOS X.4 will be out for a bit, but I've been talking to some people and they think that it would be a wonderful idea if possible. One of the more time consuming things about Helix right now, at least for my associates and myself is just finding the Field, Form or View we are looking to modify. As far as I can tell there is no search feature outside of Queries, and perhaps I'm the only one, but this would be a huge boon.

The security risks for collections with sensitive data would be enormous.
Do not look for Helix to be come a "buzzword compliant" application.

Matt, perhaps Wulf meant the ability to search across relations within Design Mode only. I myself would at times find such pretty helpful in big collections that I haven't worked on for a while.

I often Export Collection Info, open it up in BBEdit, then do a Find in that, if I'm looking for a particular object but don't know where it's located.

I have a language module for BBEdit that gives syntax coloring and populates the function popup for the Collection Info files. Now that BBEdit 8 has a "Codeless language module" feature, I may rewrite my module with that.

My thoughts,
_Ryan

Paul hit what I meant to say right on the head. I honestly don't care if this ever supports spotlight, I just wish for some way to search for stuff I need to work on while in Design mode, and I would rather not export to another program to do a search if I didn't have to to be honest
