How can I display text in a label or abacus vertically instead of horizontally? |

This is not directly supported in Helix, but there are a couple of not-so-sartisfying work-arounds. If you have text that never changes, like a label, you could create it in another application that supports rotated text, like AppleWorks, and then copy and paste it into a picture field. For dynamic text, you can have a pseudo vertical arrangement. By this I mean that the text appears vertically, but the letters are not rotated. For example: T e x t To do this, you just need to make your containing rectangle very tall and narrow. You might need to use a mono-spaced font to be sure that 2 "i"'s or other narrow letters don't end up on the same line. -Dan Kuchta
