The server (6.0.1 on a G-4) continues to freeze up - maybe 3 or more times a day. Never looses data and at worst, only one transaction is logged as not processed. I'm thinking it may be related to the auto save since I disabled it while doing some maintenance and forgot to restore it. This went on for a period of about a week before I discovered it, but during that time there were no freezes. As soon as auto save was enabled again, the freezes started. It's very annoying, but not damaging anything. Anyone have any thoughts?

John, how big does your logfile get to be? Is it on the same drive as the database? Bill Belanger |

Yes it is on the same server, but I never looked at the size. I will next freeze. Only twice so far today, it's a good day. Do you think the size might be the problem?? |
