Observed Occurence/Bug
Damage sustained by a collection is exacerbated if...
- One or more indexes are created, but left undefined, or
- Icons are removed from an existing index leaving an undefined index, but the index is not deleted.
When you are working in full mode, do not leave indexes undefined. Either fill them with at least one icon or delete them.
It has also been observed that in some instances, deleting the undefined indexes allows Helix to do further maintenance that can result in the collection passing the Update Collection Structure Check. These collections are in fact repaired.
This bug has been observed in a number of collection repairs done by our company since acquiring the product.
This bug has been observed in collections from Helix RADE 6.0 and earlier.
